Spotlight on Mari Hersh. Mari was raised in the beautiful city of Jaen in southern Spain. Jaen is known for its production of olive oil and its beautiful castles, cathedrals and fortresses. After high school Mari went to college and then into clothing design. She came to Utah for a month to do genealogy and after a few trips back and forth from Spain to Utah she ended up staying in Utah. Mari has worked in many positions over the years including as a legal translator. Mari is the proud mother of her two boys, Danny and Chris, and the grandmother of 5 grandchildren who she adores. She has also volunteered extensively in the Scouting program and at one point flew in a helicopter so that her scouts could get their flying merit badge. Mari is also an amazing holiday hostess and enjoys decorating during the holidays. Mari and her husband Bruce live on Sierra Avenue.
