He is uniquely talented when it comes to anything related to computers. Jonny grew up in Kaysville and now works as a business data analyst for USANA Health Sciences. He loves to read, write, and ski. He is a self-published author and an amazing creative artist. They met at Utah State University, married in 2022, and live with their Golden-Doodle dog named Sunny. They’ve already been to their first block party and have appreciated the welcome they’ve received. Daryl Boudrero already has Jonny and James signed up with the Highlands Minutemen and they’re happy to help and serve where they can. They appreciate the open space, natural beauty, and community-feel of their new home here in the Highlands. Welcome to the neighborhood. We look forward to getting to know you!

Spotlight on Ruby the Dog. This is Ruby and her family, Sylvia and David Child. They live at 6353 Davis Street. Sylvia and David adopted Ruby about two weeks ago from the Davis County Animal Shelter. They say this is an exceptionally nice shelter and Ruby is the third dog they’ve adopted there. Ruby is a tiny short-haired chihuahua who was brought to the shelter after being found wandering alone. Sylvia and David named her Ruby because she is such a precious gem, and they are so glad someone rescued her and that they now have her. She is about 5 years old. Sylvia and David like to adopt older dogs because they are usually house-broken and know how to walk on a leash. Ruby is extremely lovable, quiet and sweet, and is settling in very nicely to her new home. She’s already gotten used to the three dogs that live upstairs — all of whom are several times her size — and doesn’t bark at them or shy away from them. She’s a little uneasy about eating — she stops and looks around between bites — but she is getting better. She loves her new family and her favorite place to be is on one of their laps or snuggled next to them in bed. She knows she has found a wonderful forever home. And we are all so glad she did!
